If you have a question about something you read or watched

If you’re already on the newsletter, reply to any issue. It arrives from a real address, I read the replies myself, and questions people send are a large part of how I decide what to cover next.

If you’re not on it, a comment on the YouTube channel (opens in a new tab) is the quicker route, and it has a side benefit: a question one person asks is usually a question several people have, so the answer ends up helping more than one of you.

The other way in is the newsletter itself. Sign up below, and you can reply to the first issue that arrives. Leaving again takes one click.

Sixteen pages on the three places retirement taxes quietly cost people the most: the 2026 brackets, the Medicare IRMAA cliff, and required withdrawals. Replies come straight to me.

If you want to talk about your own retirement plan

That goes through Define Financial, the registered investment adviser where I work with clients. It starts with a short form and, if it looks like a fit, a free 45-minute conversation.

Define Financial can provide advisory services only in states where it is registered or exempt from registration. If your state is not one of them, you’ll be told early.

See if it’s a fit, or go straight to the form.

If your question is about your own information

Asking what is held about you, or asking for it to be deleted, does not require joining anything. If you are on the newsletter, reply to any issue — that reaches me and the reply itself proves the address is yours, which is the whole of the verification.

If you have never subscribed, there is nothing held here that is keyed to you: no account, no profile, and no record with your name on it. The privacy page sets out exactly what does and does not get collected, and how long any of it lasts.

    Press, podcasts and everything else

Reply to the newsletter and say what it’s about — it reaches me directly and it’ll get where it needs to go. A comment on the channel works too if you’re not on the list.
